Spring And Summer Swamps
While fall is slowly becoming popular amongst photographers as a good time to photograph the swamp. Spring and summer is really when the swamps comes most alive. The spring choruses of frogs and insects fill the humid understory and wildflowers abound. Egrets and herons beginning to nest and alligators rest on the banks in the sun. The cypress trees become dense with vivid green foliage and the water levels rise allowing you into deep corners under the canopy unaccessible during the fall and winter. Spring and summer thunderstorms are daily and create interesting clouds and leave the scenery wet and moist and reflecting light. This is one of my most favorite times to get out and explore.
